Capuchin Franciscan

When the Risen Jesus appeared to his friends after his resurrection, his greeting was one of peace.  “Peace be with you”! His disciples, we’re told, “were filled with joy”.

“October is special to Franciscans the world over.  On the 4^th we celebrate the feast of St Francis himself. This year the Capuchins of South Africa gathered in Pretoria during the first week of October for their annual retreat, a time of reflection and prayer together.
